Here's the ultimate guide on which AI assistant is best for which task. For writing, I use Anthropic's Claude. It's the most human-sounding model. With the projects feature, you can upload transcripts, presentations, and it turns into a knowledge hub, remembering the context and specifics for every project to continue where you left off. Next, OpenAI's ChatGPT, specifically the O1 model. It's perfect for complex problems, new concepts, or strategies requiring deep thought. It is actually thinking alongside you and showing you the reasoning steps it took, constantly delivering the highest quality outcomes.

The new Canvas feature, like Claude's Artifacts, makes refining text on the side easier, adjusting specific sections, length, style, or reading level. I use Perplexity and Gemini for anything requiring live internet, as they both tap into search and provide references. If you need to analyze a 2-hour video or 3,000 pages of text, Google AI Studio with Gemini can handle it, offering 10 to 15 times larger context. When working on confidential projects, I use StudioLM, an app that runs models locally without the internet.
