I’ve selected my favourite scales to test out and find the best one, including Withings Cardio, QardioBase and the new Xiaomi Mi Body Scale. The benefits of quantifying yourself are clear and scales are probably one fo the oldest methods of doing that as it goes back to the 18th century. It helps one understand how well they’re progressing towards the goal, i.e. lose weight, gain weight, change body composition, gain muscle, lose fat etc. Scales have involved a lot and show you much more than just weight, including fat, muscle, water, bone mass etc.
